Jervois Finland
Jervois Finland is Europe’s leading advanced cobalt materials manufacturer. This business consists of:
- a long-term refining capacity agreement with Umicore for the cobalt refinery in Kokkola, Finland (operated by Umicore) under which Jervois Finland has contractual rights to toll refine cobalt;
- long-term contracts with leading global suppliers of cobalt hydroxide, consistent with commitment to best practice responsible sourcing framework; and
- a downstream cobalt products manufacturing facility with an established marketing platform and long-term global customer base servicing clients primarily across Europe, the United States and Japan.
Idaho Cobalt Operations
The United States’ only cobalt mine that can be in production within months, to create a secure domestic U.S. cobalt supply chain.
- the largest National Instrument (“NI”) 43-101 compliant cobalt Mineral Resource Estimate in the United States;
- has a Bankable Feasibility Study for a U.S. domestic cobalt refinery.
São Miguel Paulista refinery
A nickel and cobalt refinery currently in refurbishment, in São Paulo, Brazil.
- Restart of operations in 2027 forecasts production of 12,000 metric tonnes per year (mt/yr) of nickel metal and 2,000mpta of cobalt metal
- Once in operation will be the only Class 1 refinery in Latin America.
